NSS
National Service Scheme (NSS) is a voluntary program under which Youth students from higher education institutions can participate in the voluntary National Service Scheme (NSS), which works to connect campuses and the local community. This programme, known as NSS, is run by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. As they acquire in educational institutions and develop their personalities and inner feelings toward community welfare, the students are primarily oriented toward community service by the programme.
The NSS supports the student’s growth on an individual and group level. Students can gain leadership skills, confidence, and knowledge of people from all backgrounds by volunteering for various jobs as part of NSS events.
While helping to raise people’s living standards, students also learn about many life-essential skills, achieving NSS’s goal of helping everyone in need. Active NSS volunteers gain exposure and experience that help them develop into effective social leaders and administrators.
